Leah mesmerizes her audience with her somber and subtle artistry that can be describes as a combination of pop and folk genres with an alternative edge. Think Ingrid Michaelson meets Regina Spector.
Some of Leah’s achievements include winning the Indie International Songwriting Competition for the Pop category in 2014 for her single, Ride The Butterfly. She had her track How To Behave placed in an episode of The Girls Guide To Depravity on Cinemax and has also been featured as a Daily Discovery Artist on American Songwriter in 2014. And in 2013, she formed a backing band in order to play larger venues and began to book shows around the city. To date, Leah has played 2 years of ‘unofficial SXSW showcases,’ played a Tribeca Film Festival event in New York City, at the Standard Hotel, gotten involved in song licensing for TV and Film, played at the world-famous Cactus Cafe, and has also acted in several prominent country artists’ music videos that have premiered on Vimeo and CMT.
Leah is focused on making timeless music that can be relatable across all ages. Currently, she is in the studio working on her music. After her single is released later this month, she will be releasing a dual EP project -- first in February, and the other in August.
