Re: XOVA (pronounced Crossover) – Little Lion : World IBD Day 19th May 2014
This Monday (19/5/14) is World IBD Day – a day led by patient organisations from 35 countries around the world to raise awareness of IBD (Irritable Bowel Disease), Crohn’s Disease & Ulcerative Colitis.
Chosen as Crohn’s & Colitis UK’s signature tune, Birmingham band XOVA’s track Little Lion is written by lead singer Wayne Lawrence and is about his sister Wendy who suffers from this most debilitating of diseases. We’d very much like you to write/post something on your publication this Monday to help raise awareness and join in with the fight against IBD - profits from sale of Little Lion are donated to Crohn’s & Colitis UK
Claire Balding has already been supporting the cause by playing Little Lion on her Sunday Morning Radio 2 show and a selection of celebrities who suffer from the disease include:

· Beth Orton (Singer/songwriter)
· Anastacia (Musician/Artist)
· Dynamo (Magician)
· Louis XIII (King of France)
