London's Lifecycle Release New Single

Just Another Day In The Lifecycle

London's Breakbeat-Electro-Funk band Lifecycle - new single 'The Big Picture' to be released on Monday 26th May in advance of new LP

PLUS: Great Escape, Arthur Brown, New Single and Coming LP

Spring has been busy for Lifecycle.  The London based electro, breakbeat and sub-bass tribalist outfit swapped their CDJs for a tour bus named The Millennium Sparrow. They’ve been pedalling their dynamic progressive rock vs dreamy dancefloor electronica sounds up and down the country, including playing a showcase at Brighton’s The Great Escape Festival and supporting amazing The Crazy World of Arthur Brown on his spring tour. Road-warriors to the core, the band are also committed to creating fresh material, and are now retreating to uber-psychedelic Strongroom Studios to put finishing touches to the new ‘Lino Cosmos’ LP.

A new single from this LP ‘The Big Picture’ is their heaviest cut yet, cranking up the darkness with gritty live video edited by New York’s Pisces Virgo Rising. The track is due for release on Monday 26th May.

Previous Single ‘Dissolve’ was picked up by Tom Robinson for his Radio 6 BBC Introducing show. The band welcomed the news:

“We are delighted to be on the Beeb before Noel Edmonds buys it and runs it into the ground.”

The band perform at The Silver Bullet in their home town on Saturday 12th July, delivering the new single and other tracks from the coming LP in its best possible format – LIVE.

“...rolling rhythm patterns wind around sophisticated chords and a bass throb that feels like an ocean current. The use of suspense without obvious release is very well realised, and the feel is of pleasures almost too intense to bear. All in all, a seriously powerful release...”
