FedEx has launched its first-ever, nationwide small business grant competition which will award a total of $50,000 to six deserving U.S. small businesses. The top winner will receive a $25,000 grant and the remaining five winners will receive grants of $5,000 each. has official entered the ring and is calling on all Unsigned, Underground and Independent artists to go to

   Exposed Vocals will be using every dollar of this grant towards developing our site. It will be used to create a much more user friendly environment that gives unsigned musicians the tools they need to get their music out to record labels and A&R reps. 

   Exposed Vocals was designed to help unsigned, underground and independent artists and bands get their music out to the world. Recently featured in the popular tech blog KillerstartUps as a rising-star and quoted as "the YouTube for unsigned artists" because of it's video-share platform. Exposed Vocals works endless for the underground music scene at absolutely no cost to the user and has been recognized online as leading the Underground revolution into a new digital age.  

   Currently, Exposed Vocals is struggling to stay alive. Our website is growing much faster than we ever anticipated. In less than a year our user-base has grown to over 3,000 registered unsigned artists worldwide and our video library is hosting over 5,300 music videos. The cost to operate this website compared to the money we take in with ads is a wash. In order to be competitive in this market and continue to lead and promote our users, we will need to spend money on developing Exposed Vocals. 

   A $25,000 grant will immediately get pumped into hiring a team of developers to add more tools for our user-base to better promote their music and also add a more personalized browsing experience.  Additionally, we spend money on marketing, branding and advertising. We believe that a $25,000 grant would not only propel exposed vocals into a more competitive rank, but it will also ensure our survival in this economy where almost 90% of small businesses fail in the first three years.
