Harsh.TV's Monthly Hotspot features Alex Browning

Alex Browning is a director and performer.

His promo for ¡OYE! 'When I'm Small (remix)', hailed as "artistically outstanding" by OnMilwaukee, was part of the official selection at ISFF and nominated for Best Music Video at Screentest Festival 2012.

In 2011 he was listed in the Courvoisier TheFuture500, and in 2010 was recognised as a Rare Rising Star at the House of Commons, won the BYA Arts Award and was a runner-up for an O2 Media Award.

A diverse performer; Alex has danced in the UEFA Champions League Final Opening Ceremony 2011 and acted in productions: 'Do We Ever See Grace?' and 'Ole Mas X Mas' with Contact Young Acting Company where he learnt circus aerial & trapeze.

He travelled nationally as a consultant & ambassador for Contact (theatre & arts space) as part of Re:Con (producing team). Re:Con produced 'Lost & Found', a city-wide festival of pop-up performance, M.E.N's City Life called it 'innovative' and 'daring' .

Before all of this Alex trained with Sahota’s Taekwon-do Institute and has experience as an instructor and combat choreographer. In 2007 he won gold and silver medals for blackbelt sparring at national championships.
