Nope, not your house slippers. And whilst the slippers being talked about here are probably nowhere near as warm as your house slippers seeing as the weather is not yet absolutely freezing, we might as well make the most out of NOT having to wear winter boots for now at least. The new shoe trend, inspired by Christian Louhboutin studded slippers has leaked into the high street. It follows on from the whole androgynous trend and our fascination with brogues and loafers earlier this year. This shoe suits both male and female and can be worn in almost any which way possible. There are copies of the studded slippers selling in Topshop but if you don’t feel brave enough, there are plain ones or ones with simpler patterns. So before are feet get covered in snow and soaked by the rain, enjoy this new trend in footwear.
