On Sept. 11, 2001, Jay-Z released one of his most memorable body of works to date, "The Blueprint." The first installment of Jay's Blueprint trilogy is laced with punishing penmanship and producers (Kanye West, Just Blaze), an iconic collaboration ("Renegade" feat. Eminem) and a song that started a notorious rap beef ("Takeover"). Although the LP was Jay-Z's fourthBillboard 200 No. 1 album, "The Blueprint" stamped Jay-Z as a national artist with soundscapes and lyricism that appealed to a wider audience.
In celebration of the 10th anniversary of "The Blueprint," we mapped out the road to Jay-Z's Billboard 200 No. 1 album.
