Inca Hoots take a fresh and intelligent approach to song-writing with the understanding that you, the listener deserve more than one "sound" replicated from track to track. Over the course of our debut release CREATURES you will hear elements of dance, indie, rock, tech, samba and that's just the closing track CUNEO! Josh likes Tight interesting Drum patterns, Pete plays Bass lines that can provide a tight rhythm as well as a memorable if sometimes unexpected lead. Guitar? Niall enjoys Pedals and loops utilised with grace and is comforted by the warmth of finger tapped riffs. Stu plays a cheap mid 90's Keyboard and an entry level synth that at times provides an sensaural backdrop to the music whilst at other times provides uncomplicated yet memorable leads that stick with you like a close friend and would probably have your back if you were ever in trouble.
We're not out to change the world, though we are a part of it and are aware that it can be beautiful,cruel and is in a constant state of flux. With this in mind, we write music that reflects our experience as we head toward the inevitable on this tightrope walk we call life, with the intent to share the view with you as we go. If enough of you come along for the ride maybe we could turn this tightrope walk into a conga line, Who knows?
