Poetry In Numbers are a four piece alternative/punk/new wave band from Worcester, UK, the birthplace of the sauce.
After forming in the spring of 2010 following the wake of other bands, they began writing and gigging locally immediately. Poetry In Numbers gained a slot at the Worcester Music Festival in 2010, from which brought them into contact with Kidderminster's non-profit label, MAS Records.
Since being given these opportunities, Poetry In Numbers have began recording their first studio EP, to be launched in the summer of 2011. Whilst this demo is ongoing, the band are planning various shows around the midlands.
Poetry In Numbers are all about their live performance, consisting of boundless and raw energy, and yet at the very same time a calm and dreamy ambience, as well as catchy hooks.
