Deriving their name from the concept that everyone relates to songs differently, each taking their own meaning or code from what they hear, Talk in Code are indie-rock with pop-synths and big choruses.
The new single ‘Catapult’ is released on Monday 10
th November 2014. The band perform a set of UK dates in advance, taking in Sheffield, London, Runcorn and Bristol, including supports for rockers EofE, recently favoured by McBusted.
Previously, the band has enjoyed support slots with Rams’ Pocket Radio, Transfer, Fiery Furnaces, Amber Run and Catfish & The Bottlemen. They released a debut single, ‘Face to Face’,on DIY label Realm Productions. This grabbed the attention of BBC Introducing, Clubcom TV, Vidzone, Propellor TV, SUB TV and, notably, featured on Imagesound compilation CDs and could be heard across hundreds of retail outfits, ‘NEXT’ included.
They signed an international licensing deal with DO IT! Records for their debut album. Prior to the album’s release, 2 singles were launched: ‘Make it Happen’ and ‘Limitless’. ‘Make it Happen’ attracted big attention, notably from Q MUSIC, being featured as track of the day. The more pop-oriented track ‘Limitless’ has been played on over 100 stations worldwide.
