New Single And Video From ‘This Wilderness’ EP, Plus UK Dates Supporting EofE

The Silence have a habit of taking brazen carnage everywhere they go – packaged with a ton of vibe and enthusiasm for their 

very own brand of brash melodic pop-punk alternative rock. In contradiction to their name, there is nothing silent about them 

– this is in-your-face musical attitude at its most energetic.

New single ‘Again’ is yet another example of how it should be done. Due for release on Monday 4th

their EP ‘This Wilderness’, written whilst the band were staying at Howsham Hall in Yorkshire, where they had the 73 room, 6 

million pound mansion all to themselves, the new single fizzes with pop-punk energy, and shows that The Silence can cut it – 

time after time, again and again. Vocalist Livvy:

“It`s a feel-good summery kind of song that was written in around 20 minutes-one of those rare moments where the guitar riff, 

lyrics and melody just seem to come together out of thin air and gel. We were all jumping around singing it all night during our 

nightly nerf gun battles around Howsham Hall! It`s become one of our favourite songs to play live because of the energy levels it 

The band have been touring and are keen to stay out on the road, and they will be teaming up with current buzz act EofE – 

who recently supported McBusted on a UK Arena Tour – for a set of dates in November 2014. Given some of the tour stories 

they have (including accidentally kidnapping a drunk man based on mistaken identity in Spain; guerilla gigs being shut down by 

police; forgetting band members and stranding them on the side of the road), this is looking like a different kind of road rage of 

a hilarious nature, with EofE in tow. 

Previous single ‘The Fire’ hit 4000 views in just a few days and is still climbing steadily, with the video now being aired on Scuzz 

TV, following the success of ‘Barriers’ which was playlisted by MTVU and broadcast on on rotation to 800 American Universities 

and radio stations, and was the number 1 song on Reverbnation’s rock chart for months.
