The Lora G and Nikki Lunden Band (LGNLBand) is a team of incredibly talented musicians and singers—all who have or have had their own bands and/or solo albums or individual recording projects. Our core members come together because of their love of creating original music, love of each other and belief in the band. Lora has an incredible talent for writing original songs with great hooks and powerful messages. We all work together to express those messages so that our audience is not only entertained but can also embrace our music whole-heartedly.

Q.Please give your Fans 3 Fun Facts About you
1. Each person in the band comes from extremely different backgrounds.
2. We have a tendency to change roles in the band depending on what the song asks us for.
3. We have many well known world class musicians who join us as guests for live performances and recordings.
Q. What makes your Voice Stand Out from other Artists?
We will quote Evran Goknar, Grammy Award Winning Mastering Guru of Capitol Records when he was asked by one of the suits at the label, "who do they sound like?" He thought for just a few seconds then said with a confident smile,"Well, they sound like Lora G!". We think that's the best compliment a band could ever receive.
Q. Do you Write Your Own Material?
Yes! Lora is our main songwriter, however most of the band members are songwriters as well, bringing even more elements to our sound.
Q: What are your Current projects that you are working on?
We are putting the final touches on "When Love Lies", "I Wonder" and "Hear Me" which we just recorded at Capitol Records at the end of June (2013) and will be releasing those songs very soon! Also during the month of June, we shot 5 music videos and hope to have those edited and released in the near future as well. The band will head out on our first European Tour on August 18 (2013) so in the midst of all the recording, taping and marketing responsibilities, we are rehearsing non-stop to ensure a fantastic performance for every show we play!
Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 years time?
Still working as hard as we do today with more albums, videos, and tours on our resume, maintaining and perfecting our performances, continuing to work on our songwriting craft and strengthening our foundation with every step we take.
Q: Where do you get your inspiration from?
Richey Edwards of Manic Street Preachers, our Producer Luis Maldonado of Into The Presence, Muse, The Beatles, our good friend Prescott Niles of The Knack and Missing Persons, and so many more... including each other.
Q: Who would you rather listen to UK or US Music?
In our opinion, it doesn't matter where the music comes from as long as it's truthful, fun to listen to and doesn't try to imitate someone else - so our answer is both? However, we all have grown up on the "British Invasion" so we have some major influence there :)
Q:What Artist do you listen to?
Muse, Berlin, Manic Street Preachers, The Strokes, The Beatles, Black Keys, Evanescence, Into The Presence, Queen, The Knack, and Nikki LOVES Sheryl Crow....
Q:Who influences your music?
Well for sure all the above mentioned artists and individuals, but definitely our friends and fans as well. It's crucial to get feedback from the people who matter the most and take into consideration what they are asking for and what they are into so we can make adjustments to our sound to keep our listeners engaged.
