The Fuse Return From LA to Headline CARGO London November 10th

The Fuse Return From LA to Headline CARGO London November 10th

Taking a break from eating Calf Brain Sausages in Bavaria & rolling around LA in Stretched Hummers, London hipsters The Fuse return for a hometown headline show at Cargo, Shoreditch.

The Fuse achieved success relatively quickly into their career, having been spotted by LA music industry legend Russ Regan (who discovered and signed Elton John) and promptly offered them a deal. The band jumped on a plane to LA to record their debut album and was even treated to a debauched night at the Oscars award ceremony.

Alex Lato vocalist recalls …….” the big boss (of the parent company to the label) had showed up. He had been off the booze for several months. At a certain stage of the evening, he ordered a personal bar to be brought to our table. (Essentially like a hostess trolley on an aeroplane, stacked with booze, which we could help ourselves from.) Up until that time he had been drinking red bulls, but he suddenly asked me ‘Alex can you mix me some Vodka into my redbull?’ I couldn't’ really say no so I mixed him a Vodka redbull. His bender was to last 4 days, and he was eventually traced to a notorious Hollywood hotel where he was holed up. That night the bar tab came to 40,000 US dollars (which thankfully wasn’t on us), split between about 3 different bars. It was the ultimate Hollywood night, driving around in stretched Humvees and ending up at a house party in the Hollywood Hills. “

The band have been touring Europe and recently recorded their new EP in Bavaria Germany.

…. “One morning I went to the market and bought everyone the Bavarian speciality called ‘Weissworst’ - a white sausage only to be eaten before 12 noon. We were all tucking in to it during a break in the recording schedule, when someone asked Seb Roeder our producer what was in it. He paused and then said – I’m pretty sure its made from calf brain!! “

The headline show at CARGO London 10th November is set to sell out where the band are to launch their amazing new EP ‘ Runners ‘ as a taster to the as yet unnamed album being released next year.
