Blud Bruthaz is a two-member, American rap group, from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, independently formed in June of 2010. The group is comprised of two brothers, Jet Boi (22), and Krypta (26).
Fueled by their desire to prove southern lyricists exist and naysayers wrong, Blud Bruthaz released their debut mixtape ‘Blud Bruthaz’ on January 26, 2011. Shocking listeners with Jet Boi’s smooth delivery and Krypta’s commanding sledgehammer style, the five track mixtape drew rave reviews, spawning hit songs ‘My Dj’, a party anthem featuring their cousin JAWBREAKA, and ‘Pickin’ Up The Pieces’, in which the group showcased a more vulnerable side, instantly creating a small following from many diverse sections around the world. On February 26, 2012, internet radio station Aiiradio.net played two newly released singles, Heaven and Nighttime Rollin’, marking the first time the group received radio airtime. On April 22, 2012, Blud Bruthaz wrapped the final recording session of their first studio album ‘League of Our Own’. Influenced by Tupac, DMX, Nas, Wale, and international acts such as 2NE1, BIGBANG, and Booba, listeners can expect to hear confident, hard-driven lyrics accompanied by foot-stomping, body rocking dance tunes.
