Twisted Pink's Biography:
 
Jacqueline Reid the project manager of Twisted Pink who graduated from Waltham Forest college afer studying an access course in Social/Community work which gave her an opportunity to study a degree in youth/community work at The University of East London.
 
This gave her an insight about how the needs and safety of young people are really important. As a part time hobbie she was a member of State of the Nation which was in Theatre Royal Stratford for over a year.
 
This is where she got the idea to launch her own project which is called Twisted Pink.
 
Twisted Pink is a Dance and Drama organisation that started June 7th 2010.
This company is held at Winsor Park Community Centre, 18 Warwall, Beckton, London E6 4NA.
 
The project sessions is managed by myself and 3 volunteers, that have experience in working with young people,dance, singing and drama.
 
Each volunteer are CRB checked to ensure the safety of the young people.
 
Twisted Pink will consist of activivties such as dance, Singing and drama.
Twisted Pink employ young people to help run activities weekly.
 
Sessions are held twice a week for the ages of 7-16 years.
 
Drama is Wednesday is 6 pm - 7 pm £3
 
Street Dance is Friday 6 pm -7 pm  £3
 
We will have 2 performances a year for parents and friends to see.
There is a registration fee of £13 for the year.
 
All the money will be used to help maintain the project and keep it going for young people in the future.
 
Twisted Pink will be a challenge but it will also be very rewarding. I look forward to working with my volunteers abd young people every week, as I love what I do. I am very thankful for all the support that I am getting because without it this would not be possible.
