Recently Jelz completed work on his E.P
‘Positive Barz It's A Standard Ting.’ The EP contains 4 tracks full of positive vibez that are all about bringing light to darkness. Jelz has a big heart for the community, especially working with young people and has decided to dedicate this EP to his work with Switch It! Football and Life. Switch It! is a football and mentoring project for young people 10 – 18 in South East London. Their aim is to transform and bring hope to young peoples lives through football and various other activities. Jelz decided that all funds raised from his EP launch aswell as sales of the EP would go towards the work of the project, particularly developing the mentoring side of things.
Jelz - “I am so blessed to have become a Christian at a young age, I am so thankful that I had a church and a youth club where I could go and express myself freely and receive help and support in life’s struggles. Many young people today especially the ones we are working with do not have this.”
The time ahead is an exciting time for Jelz Music as he begins to perform and network up and down the country. Jelz is currently studying a degree in Music Production and he is excited and can’t wait to get started on his next projects where he will focus much more on his music and sound however still maintaining his trademark content. Let’s just wait and see what the future holds.
