Mula aka Wesley fisher was born on December 8, 1985 in Racine, Wisconsin to a double parent home on the south side of the city. Mula first got interested in music at the age of 13 when he wrote his first song entitled nightmares. At the age of 18 mula recorded his first in studio song named im only 18 and fell in love with the music business from there. From 2004 until the present mula has been making his way into this business by making connections with any body who has a hand in the music business. Traveling all throughout the country making different business moves mula made connections in 20 out of the 50 states. In 2006 mula came across a studio in augusta Ga that was run by a label called EF records (everybody felons) and caught the attention of an engineer named D-Boy who then provided him with his first original beats. Mula then enlisted in the military at the time hooked up with a more established rapper who is currently an artist being produced by super producer drumma boy; named Bama who is an Atlanta native. Shortly after his return to his home town of Racine Wisconsin mula began looking for help from local artists in a city where its everybody for themselves, he connected with MPMG artist Mike Beezy and recorded his first track in a in house studio, months went by and Mike Beezy asked mula to be apart of his gutta fam label. After an internal beef within the label all parties kind of separated and began their own journeys. After years of depending on others mula finally saved up enough money to purchase his own studio, by walkin back and forth between two jobs ( home depot and taco bell ) doing what he had to to get paid.
One day on the southside mula got his first show which was a showcase entitled Mid West Got Talent show case where he met a manager / owner of a music promo company by the name of Big mike who owns reddoggmusic. Big mike and mula met on April 2, 2011 and he gave mula the invite for the competition held the following week at the same establishment, where Huey of the Hitz Committee chose mula as the winner of the showcase out of 10 people mula came out victorious. As a solo independent artist mula now does four shows a month in his hometown of racine and has been mentioned as an artist on the rise to look out for in 2012. With 4 mixtapes done and ready to put into distribution mula looks to use his MPMG affiliation with Terrence Dawson to utilize the internet presence to ink a major label deal in the up coming months.
With skills such as writing his own music rapping and singing mula has all the essentials to make it in the entertainment business. Not only having the music talent mula also was recruited by a couple of modeling slash talent agencies. The multi talented artist has a drive to make it with swag and focus inked a year promo deal with One Source talent agency in Chicago Il in early 2011.
