Q.Tell us about who you are & What you do?

I go by B but my stage name is Tomcat, i am a 20 year old Rapper, Producer, & Engineer coming from Oakland California independently signed to M.M.F [Money, Music, Family] entertainment .

Q: Describe your Music in 5 words

Relate-able , Chill , Different, Enlightening & Melodic

Q: What are your Current projects that you are working on?

I just released "Just Warming up 2" Jan 29th 2012 filled with free music so people can get more acquainted with my style.

Am also planning to drop the third installment to the Just warming up series some time in April - May.

Which will lead to my First EP/Album " Renaissance Era " slated to drop later this year.

So it will be a Great year for my music and my brand.

Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 years time?

Honestly songwriting, producing, and performing hits heard across the world! don't get me wrong though, i am thinking realistically i understand how hard it is to breakthrough as an artist since there is so many other talented artists in the bay area and across the nation, but i believe if you have the confidence, belief, right strategy, and surround yourself with the right people you can get your own dreams to come true.

Q: Where do you get your inspiration from?

Day to Day experiences dealing with family, friends, money, women just life in general to be honest.

Q: Who would you rather listen to UK or US Music?

I rather listen to GREAT music either if its UK or US doesn't matter to me. If it keeps my head bobbin, its Gucci (its Perfect) haha

Q:What Artist do you listen to?

I listen to the whole Hip-hop/Rap Genre in general from the Common's to the Gucci mane's to the Mac Miller's to the Yung Berg's. so if it keeps my head bobbin its Gucci

Q:Who influences your music?

My number one influence is Tupac Shakur no doubt. The lesson i always took from him was to always be yourself and speak your mind. My second big influence was ATCQ [A tribe called quest] what i took from them was to always have fun with your music NEVER become the norm or the regular always think about the next sound & always have a distinct vibe with your music.

Swag, Swaggy, Swagger, Swaggest, & Swagged haha
