Q.Tell us about who you are & What you do?

The I.D has members from Switzerland, Ireland and the UK who formed a musical union through their love of the Factory scene. This fandom coupled with an appreciation of the artistic ideals of Dadaists, the band try to deliver their own slant on the post-punk manifesto.

Q: Describe your Music in 5 words

Sharp, Angular, Direct, Sinuous and Duvet-thick?

Q: What are your Current projects that you are working on?

We've recently been working on our first video with a fantastic designer who lives in France. It should be ready for the release of our debut single on Duchamp Records. At the moment we're spending time in the studio writing and also cutting drums for other forthcoming pieces.

We should hopefully announce some Summer festivals shows not too far down the line... All of this while fixing guitars and selling fruit & veg..

Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 years time?

If you consider that we may move from places to places at different speeds, it is almost impossible to tell.. But let's say we have a concept in mind and it was born here, in England. So we think it may well be developed here too.

Q: Where do you get your inspiration from?

A lot of walking and less and less talking. We're just like and old couple really!

Q: Who would you rather listen to UK or US Music?

"Good" music is "good" music no matter where it's from!

Q:What Artist do you listen to?

Serge Gainsbourg

Q:Who influences your music?

We listen to a fair amount of music that was produced in the late 70's and 80's.

Groundbreaking. A lot of dark really..
