Submit music for consideration in music licensing for TV and FILM

It’s a new year and there are great opportunities coming your way. I'm looking for independent artists & bands - talent from all genres including Rock, Rap, Hip Hop, Dance, POP, R&B, Electronic, New Age, Punk, Acoustic... you name it. See below for submission guidelines. I'll do my best to break it down so that you have all the information you need to successfully submit your music for music licensing considerations for TV and film.

There are two ways you can submit music:

Submission Guidelines - (please read in its entirety)

1. IMPORTANT!! Please use this subject line format for your emal submission: "Music Submission: , "

2. All works must be original - NO SAMPLES -. The main focus is to help independent artists. We ask that all submissions are original works to legally protect all parties involved, including you as the songwriter/artist/publisher/producer and the major networks that will want sync your music. So, NO SAMPLES please. No matter how chopped up, flipped, reversed, or filtered. Besides, this is the best way to showcase YOUR talent... Be original and be your self...There's nothing more true and more valuable.

3. You must own the copyrights, publishing, and masters to the tracks you submit. As an independent artist/band you own all aspects of your music. If you are looking to copyright your music and are unsure how, please contact me directly and I can help you get started.

4. Sound quality is key. We need material that is ready to be heard by the world...simple as that. Have your tracks mixed and mastered to give it that commercial sound.

5. Simple as this sounds, TRACKS MUST BE TITLED! In addition, include a track list in your email. But, a track list alone will not be enough. If you have the means, TAG YOUR FILES with metadata (including contact info). You can also do this through iTunes. Put your contact information in the comments section of the track info. If you have questions about doing this, let me know.

6. If sending more than one file.... ZIP 'em. Email one ZIP file which includes: all titled tracks (MP3 or WAV) & a document with your contact information. Most email service providers put a limit on the file size. In which case please use dropbox or yousendit. For your own free 2GB dropbox account use this link: http://db.tt/LMI8zb4

Please note that links to websites in the body of your email does not fulfill submission criteria. -_-

Again, these are just steps towards helping you build and sustain your self as an independent artist/band through providing you with detailed instructions on how to submit your music for licensing. If you have any questions at all please do not hesitate to contact me (see email below).

I receive a great number of submissions on on a daily basis, so please be patient in receiving a response in some cases, a response will not be sent please DO NOT send follow up emails.
