My parents were sixties radicals who met on the Folk scene during the Summer of Love. I was born and raised in The University, like Lyra from Northern lights. My parents were liberal Academics, and as a small child they would take me to Folk Festival and Anti Nuclear Demonstrations. I went to a Catholic primary school, run by Nuns, who tough me how to sing and play the violin. I worked hard and earned a scholarship to a Military Boarding School. I learned to fence and ride and fight and fly and fire guns. I hated it! After five years I escaped to the America South West taking with me only my Guitar. I spent a year in the desert before returning home to complete my studies. With Folk, County and Delta Blues, running though my vanes, I earned a Degree in music and I have been a self-employed musician even since. I study part time whilst working as a Performer, a Record Producer and a Concert Promoter. I co-founded THE FREE LOVE CLUB, which is a FREE ACOUSTIC MUSIC FESTIVAL that takes place at the YARDBIRD JAZZ CLUB in Birmingham, every Sunday. I also organize a cool event called CLUB BOMB that takes place on the first Friday of every month at Scruffy Murphy's, and I own a private recording studio in Edgbaston, know as THE BOMB SHELTER.
