Q.Tell us about who you are & What you do?

I am TKFQ, short for ThaKidFromQueens and I'm a 19 year old Hip Hop Artist from Queens, NYC trying to get my music heard really.

Q: Describe your Music in 5 words

1. Self 2. Motivated 3. Lyrical 4. Soulful 5. Aspiring

Q: What are your Current projects that you are working on?

Right now I'm working on my mixtape, which is going to be my first mixtape in fact. I've been thinking about the name for it, but I want it to mean something so right now I'll just call it TKFQ's Mixtape until further notice.

Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 years time?

Well, 5 years from now I see myself with a Record deal. I'm very confident with myself and I think I can do it. I take my music very seriously.

Q: Where do you get your inspiration from?

Well I've been writing and rapping since like 4th grade, but I was on the low with it all. The first time I remember me thinking I should start rapping was the first time when I heard the Wu-Tang Clan Enter the 36 Chambers. I never heard anything like it really and that's when I started. I wasn't all that good at it, at first and then I just started doing it all the time. And here we are.

Q: Who would you rather listen to UK or US Music?

I like all music if it's good and it catches my ear. If I had to choose I would say US Music only because that's what i hear the most.

Q:What Artist do you listen to?

Of course A Tribe Called Quest, Curren$y, Wiz Khalifa, Kendrick Lamar, A$AP Rocky, this Hip Hop Group out of Brooklyn named Nappy Hair, and another artist from Queens named Breeze.

Q:Who influences your music?

A Tribe Called Quest, Curren$y, Jay-z, Biggie Smalls, 50 Cent and the whole G-Unit, De La Soul. Yea, I love the old school artists really.

Q: Please describe your fashion style in 5 words?

1. Just 2. Doing 3. My 4.Own 5. Thing... Lately when it comes to fashion I've just been doing what feels right to me. I don't want to look like the next man. I want to stick out.
