Islati has been on the hip hop scene since 1997 when he began performing spoken materials in San Diego, California. In that same year, he wrote two of his greatest pieces, "Tantrumonium and "Forecast". Both unorthodox yet prophetic in nature that cooresponds very closely to the events and times of today (2009). His first venture into the music profession was with www.Loud.com - a website where hundreds of rap/hiphop Artists compete for a cash prize and record deal. In his first week, Revo won a seat as a semi-finalist. The reception of his arrival was paramount and a small scale representation of what his arrival will be in the music industry: love/hate. There is no middle-ground to those who have encountered the lyrics of IslatiTheRevo.
