Q.Tell us about who you are & What you do?

Last time I was asked this question was when I called my video producer/best friend from a private number. I answered: Im Milana. Milana singer/actress...

Haha It was funny.

What you do?

Im a creator. I create melodies, lyrics, music, choreography, videos, fashion styles, characters, etc

Q: Describe your Music in 5 words

I MAKE YOU EXPERIENCE IT

Q: What are your Current projects that you are working on?

Im working on my EP which is coming out next year. Everything is a secret right now because the sound is absolutely different from what I was doing before and what people know me for.

Im working on an independent movie where Im playing the lead.

And many other mini projects.

Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 years time?

Alive here in New York City in a big beautiful penthouse apartment. Recording the hottest music, creating crazy shows with my team, 24/7 rehearsals and video work, traveling a lot with concerts and movie-filming. Doing charity because it makes me truly happy. Maybe finally having a boyfriend.

Q: Where do you get your inspiration from?

From African American Men and Culture. From movies. From dreams, nightmares. From different situations in the past that changed me. Also it can be somebody’s eyes, somebody’s tears or mountains with birds singing, some little cat lost in a forest... Stuff like that. Or when I want to say something to somebody but I cant because Its hard or wont make any sense, or just because I cant see this person - I put it into the song.

Q: Who would you rather listen to UK or US Music?

I don’t care where the music was made. I care weather it moves me or it’s boring...

Q:What Artist do you listen to?

Everything that’s in my mp3 player which is a big mess and very eclectic. I actually love something mellow like Ryan Leslie, Frank Ocean or Craig David. I listen to Coyote Oldman because this helps me to fall asleep at night. I also go online from time to time to listen to some upcoming artists to see who are my competitors in the market right now.

Q:Who influences your music?

My team. They are great in telling me the truth about weather this or that idea sounds good or not. Christina Aguilera influenced: I listened to a lot of her music when I was learning how to sing. Deep Forest did: my dad gave me their music and I loved it so much and I’ve learned about being open to anything listening to it. Right now dubstep and house music producers influence me.
