Job Description
The Role
We're looking for smart, interesting, and hard-working people to join our intern team. We’re looking for a number of students and recent graduates with an interest in digital music..
Whether you’re into Rock, House, Classical, Dubstep, or rubbish 80s pop – then this is the right chance to join the ‘next big thing’ in the global digital music sector.
You could be a musician, a DJ, or a clubber, or a smooth jazz lover – as long as you’re as obsessed about music as we are, you’re welcome to join our award-winning team.
Our Pop Music Researchers will be responsible for:
- Data Entry for the all-time top selling 1,000 albums and top selling 1,000 tracks
- UK and US top 1,000 selling albums of all time
- Involves research online with multiple sources
This is not a paid internship, but we do require your full participation at least 4 days / week. There is often paid work for interns out of normal working hours and weekends
The internship is for an initial 3 months after which there is the possibility of a permanent job with us or our partner companies

Decibel interns have gone on to work for some of the leading companies in the Music industry - major labels and major digital service providers.
Required Skills
A very keen interest in music
An interest in the digital music Industry and a knowledge of new digital service providers
Online research skills.
Endless patience and attention to detail.
Computer data entry skills.
Good communication skills.
