Alternative rockers Rusty G’s first smashed on to the music scene in late 2007 with their unique blend of grunge, garage rock, blues and progressive rock which resulted in a collective, powerful and effective sound!
2010 saw the band progress massively with a winning slot at The Fanland Battle of the bands which helped heighten the buzz surrounding the band.
Earlier this year saw the band perform their biggest show to date in front of a 5,000 packed audience at The Sheffield Motorpoint Arena!
The outfit have been keeping very busy, playing in numerous festivals such as Live and Unsigned, Properstock, Bedford Summer Fayre, Luton Aid festival and Dunstable rocks festivals, while also supporting the likes of Johnny Foreigner and Les Mckeown’s Bay City Rollers.
The band's compilation release (Rusty G's E.P.) was named 'A definite contender for our top ten of local band C.D.s' by Bedford alternative music.[1]
The band plan to continue to spread the word...and will be playing at venues such as The Zanzibar in Liverpool, The Shed in Leicester, Esquires in Bedford and Bridgehouse 2 in Canning Town, London.
