Q.Tell us about who you are & What you do?

A: We are Motive, Hard Rock/Metal band out of the Central Coast of California. We play shows all around California, doing what we love and having fun entertaining fans and making new ones.

Q: Describe your Music in 5 words

A:Alternative, Rock, Metal, Fun, Energetic.

Q: What are your Current projects that you are working on?

A: Perfecting current songs and writing new, more energetic, ever evolving music.

Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 years time?

A: On a record label, touring the US/World with major acts or even a successful self headlining tour. Making a good living doing what we love and thoroughly enjoy.

Q: Where do you get your inspiration from?

A: Everyday life. Anything that happens, Good, bad, epic, boring, everything is an inspiration. Everything has a story. Whether it be experience or fictional or even something you heard about. It's all there.

Q: Who would you rather listen to UK or US Music?

A: We mostly listen to music from the US but do not let the origin determine our liking for it. If an artist is good, they're good. Doesn't matter if they're American, British or European in general.

Q:What Artist do you listen to?

A: The band has very different influences between the different members. Jacob Cypher (Drums) enjoys Led Zepplin, Pretty Lights and Paul McCartney. Jordan Espinoza (Bass) likes alot of Punk including Bad Brains and the Minuteman. Loves Rage Against The Machine and even Rap such as Mac Dre. Rick Plumlee II (Guitar) loves Metal from Godsmack, Pantera and Mudvayne all the way to Tool, Hatebreed and Five Finger Death Punch. Julian Clymer (vocals) Identifies very much with Soundgarden, Audioslave, Weezer all the way to Flobots and Rage Against The Machine.

Q:Who influences your music?

A: Everyone who has an impact on our lives. People we know, people we love, hate, admire and look up to. Everyone that has an impact on you is an influence that changes your life in some small way and inspires you to be different or better.

Q: Please describe your fashion style in 5 words?

A: Comfortable, Sharp, Presentable, Different from eachother.
