Job description | Job Overview As Event Co-ordinator you will report directly into the Head of Live Events and Original Content, your core role will be to act as key support on a diverse and multi faceted live event programme for iTunes. You will be required to assist on all aspects required to deliver and produce a roster of live events, at all times when representing the brand you will be required to do so in a competent and professional manner. As part of this role you will be required to work outside of normal working hours. This role will at times spread to support the wider brand team where you will gain experience working closely with a talented team with proven success in delivering exciting and innovative projects. This role is a fantastic and challenging opportunity for an individual pursuing a career in music and live events, It will provide you with an opportunity to work with leading players within the industry as a whole.The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the execution of live events, they will need to have a strong technical and event operations background with excellent account management experience. Role Duties Support in the Coordination of all aspects of a live campaign in order to ensure excellent execution is achieved. Ability to advance a roster of live shows and coordinate all technical aspects of the artist advancing process. Previous knowledge and experience of site management. Previous experience of working with TV production teams. The ability and knowledge to work well with technical suppliers and stage crew. Previous knowledge of event control and health and safety procedures. Talent booking experience. Support with researching potential live ideas and market trends within the industry. * Updating project timelines and journey plans. At times you may be required to brief internal teams on project updates/deadlines and monitor feedback. Staying updated on key experiential trends, event industry news and understand a healthy marketing mix of the music and live industry. Continuous competitive analysis of other brands/promoters operating within the live filed. * Management of travel & accommodation. * Supplier negotiation. Assisting with venue sourcing. Hospitality support function at live events. Support with the recruitment and management of volunteer teams/runners for the execution of live events. At times you will be required to liaise with artist management/agents/record labels/3rd party production companies. * General administrations duties required in order to support the smooth running of the team. Working effectively to tight process and procedures. Production of documents, reports and tracking of data. Candidate The ideal candidate will be degree educated with experience from previous account executive, project executive or event executive roles. This candidate must have a passion for music and live events and be enthusiastic with at least 3 year's industry experience. Fantastic communication skills are key to this role. The ability to work well under pressure and excel in stressful situations. A can do attitude is essential. The need to be challenged and want to grow as part of a team. A friendly and positive demeanor, with a confident and outgoing personality. The ability to work alone and run with a task along with being a strong team player. Keen and fast learner with the ability to take on board the brand values quickly and apply these to your daily working duties. The ability to adapt well in changing situations and environments. |
