TH BLK NZ (the black noise) is a unique frequency that is the hidden source of all frequencies. However, this is only directly detected by the few vessels that are in alignment with all vibrations.
Circa 2005 a creative meeting of minds took place between Philip Walcott (SADIEsSON) and Aaron Campbell (Actual) against the backdrop of South London. Introduced through a mutual friend they soon recognised they shared many common interests ranging from basketball, metaphysics, nostalgic TV theme tunes to classic kung fu films, a general love of knowledge and of course music.
Spawning from a prominent cultural background including a rich family lineage of professional singers, poets, musicians, counsellors and creative thinkers, they have an abundance of energy to draw from. Cultivated in an environment steeped in Jamaican heritage whilst underpinned with hip-hop sensibilities, their creative expressions transcend genre resulting in the unorthodox yet commercially viable sound; TH BLK NZ.
Musically, imagine throwing influences of: Prince, Miles Davis, Crosby Stills & Nash,
This all-encompassing outlook is what enables them to move through and adapt to many musical chambers and musical seasons.
