New Music- New Artist- Jonathan Laird



Jonathan Laird delivers a hooky slice of happiness by combining head-bopping



grooves, silky vocals and picturesque lyricism. It's a style of modern pop that


meshes elements of Paul Simon and John Mayer with George Benson and Jason


Mraz.



Jonathan has recently released a Promotional E.P. consisting of three original songs.


Songs from the recording have been aired on 104.3 WZYP, and independent


podcasts from the U.K., New York, and Germany.



Jonathan is currently writing songs for his first full-length recording, performing


with Chopper Wilson of the Jason Albert Band (Heartland), Bonner Black,
The


Flashbacks
and is co-writing with Lee Pinson and Sarah Ray Causey.




He has received critical acclaim for "Portrait of a Destiny" and "Bigger Than


Myself" from the Tangled Up In Me- E.P. The E.P. was produced by Cam


DeVaney (pre-production for Flyleaf)





He has been selected as Valley Planet's 2010- "Best Jazz Artist"


In addition, Jonathan has shared

Jonathan currently performs as a solo artist and is also a supporting musician


for other artists.

Relay for Life and Susan G. Komen.
