Q.Tell us about who you are & What you do?
[Art Rautenberg] I’m primarily a composer that can write anything from hard rock, to jazz, to orchestral and everything in between. At the moment, my focus is on pop rock.

[Art Rautenberg] Pop rock songs with poetry
Q: What are your Current projects that you are working on?
[Art Rautenberg] I am working concurrently on a number of song ideas, plus ice skating instrumentals at the moment
Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 years time?
[Art Rautenberg] Writing songs for other artists, composing music for TV and film, with an occasional live performance
Q: Where do you get your inspiration from?
[Art Rautenberg] It sounds trite, but everything inspires me, sometimes I just wake up a new idea and I have to immediately record it. I have no idea where it comes from. I generally hear all the instruments and vocals in my head at the same time. I just try to get it down while it’s still fresh. And of course I’m influenced by other composers and artists. I’m also attempting to steer the lyrical content on some songs to the challenges of middle age (there’s a lot of us out there …)
Q: Who would you rather listen to UK or US Music?
[Art Rautenberg] Music has no borders, if it’s good, I love it!
Q:What Artist do you listen to?
[Art Rautenberg] Literally everyone except rap. Just don’t care for it.
Q:Who influences your music?
[Art Rautenberg]
Beatles, Foo Fighters, Vertical Horizon, Yes, Jeff Beck, Allman Brothers, Jimmy Eat World, Wishbone Ash, Isley Brothers, Four Freshman, The Who, Eric Clapton, Gino Vanelli, Bach, Beethoven, Goo Goo Dolls, Cheap Trick, Gin Blossoms. I just like great songwriting!

[Art Rautenberg] Lolol! Style? I need help in that department!! I’m quite boring in jeans and t-shirts …
