If you could take the musical prowl-us from Jimi Hendrix and Quincy Jones, blended with a pinch of Mr. Shakur, you would have the Star we know as City. City Star, one of LA's finest, has arrived! With stellar production in popular music, City is as refreshing as Kanye was when he first dropped out of college. The next international hit-maker, City's style, much like his personality makes a self-assured statement that he is a KING. Across all genres, City Star has the ability to make it sound famous by taking it where it needs to go, from block knocking hip hop, to the most futuristic dance and pop charting sound of the times.

Graduating the Los Angeles School of Music and Recording at the top of his class in audio engineering, and an early career as an artist, City is the epitome of one man band. From production including live instrumentation to songwriting, engineering in addition to vocals, his vast musical creativity and vision is far beyond limited and is what the industry needs more of. An Inglewood, CA native, this chameleon with a boundless passion for hip-hop, is brushing the dirt off his shoulder and bringing flavor to popular music, music that stays in a rotation. City has the ability to create popular music by layering warm fuzzy drums over melodic tones to taste that rhythmic swag we call ear candy. There is no doubt that his breakout success will lead him into the realm of winning As best producer writer and artist with chart topping singles and albums for all popular music as we know it.

City Star began working with a number of artists while working under his big brother, well sought after LA based hip hop producer Byrd, in addition to briefly interning with famed producer Scott Storch. After being misled by bad deals, City forced himself into hibernation which gave him time to regroup and decide the direction he wanted to take his career. With fighting through getting paid and receiving credit from projects that he had completed, along with songs that were being played or had been submitted for tv and film projects, City had to resort to working as a Los Angeles County Paramedic to pay the bills. A blessing in disguise, it wasn't until an accident on the job which cost him to be nearly paralyzed for a year that he decided, he couldn't live without music. While being nursed back to good health, City went into hermit mode to began re-establishing himself as an artist to not only take his place in this industry, but to take the music and the industry to the next level.

Capitalizing on his second chance at life, City's steady presence in the celebrity limelight will not eclipse his musical talent by far. City Star is a superstar on his own terms without adapting his appearance, his rhetoric, or his music to fit any one musical mold. Working through his production company Sound Famous Productions based in Hollywood, CA, City's goal is to become one of the most commercially successful producers, songwriters, and artist with multiple singles and albums on billboards top charts. City creates music that caters to each artist individually which is why he's so hot! His production abilities seem limitless racking up impressive hits and collaborations, with current projects including Stacee Adamz, MaLe Dane, Keyvous Fade to name a few.

He makes everything you do sound better by bringing out the best in what he's working with. City will soon be the most talked-about artists in the industry. It won't be long before everybody wants beats by City, with the likes of 50 Cent, Jay Z, Kanye West, Lil Wayne, and Rick Ross in collaboration. With a sense of individuality, City plays original pieces as well as samples in some productions, however there is no mistaking him for someone else. With new producer Sean Garrett holding the title as no. 1 Billboard list of Producers, City is looking forward to claiming it next year.
