Aivy Thi Nguyen Does An Exclusive Interview with Leyton Benta. A young talented singer, Actor and a music producer.
Leyton Benta. A young talented singer, Actor and a music producer. A young man that takes his life really serious within improvement and development for what he can help influence and provide for others in particular. We would say that he is very mature for his age. He focuses on nothing but showing love, sharing light and spreading peace towards the people in his life and wanting the best for everyone to fulfil their dreams and by becoming successful positively. He truly has the belief of knowing that everybody can make a change in life and to the world itself. Leyton would call himself a perfect example of being a role model for other people, words couldn’t really describe on how much, but within what he does in general would be something very worthwhile and beneficial. He has a vision, and this vision for what he is looking to create and build is a LEGACY. A legacy of being different throughout his ART and for what IMPACT it could bring to the world, to the fans or to anyone in general. There is a lot more we could say about this young man, but for what you know is that he wouldn’t let anybody get in the way of him becoming something in life.
What made you decide to become a music artist?
I remember that time when I was forced to join the choir back in primary school , but was so nervous because of the thoughts I had planted. I enter on a stage with a group of people and began to sang and to be honest I actually felt good about myself. What made it greater was that the teacher had mentioned that I was the best singer there and that I was the only voice that stood out. Further on I recorded my first song at the age of 9 years. My motivation began to expand throughout the years as it had went on , and since then I have been making a move with expanding my results to be bigger and better.
Describe in 5 words your music?
Positive, motivational, influential, enlightening and spiritual.
In 5 years time, where would you like to see yourself?
I would like to see myself at an award ceremony holding a trophy for the best new upcoming young artist / Actor. Being signed to a record label especially more publicity with what I do in general. Being that positive young role model to people. Those that can inspire me and those that I can inspire.
Who inspired your music and acting career?
Knowledge on self development inspired me throughout my music and acting career. It helped realise my full potential and abilities to help push myself even further to be the best that I can be. I had recently finished an album called ‘Think Big-Take Action’ which was based on positive influential messages that could help encourage and inspire people whether they were in their 30’s/40’s etc , but there were no age limits to who it was delivered out to. Spreading the word of positivity takes all. I would say that Michael Jackson influenced me by a mile, especially my brother Samuell Benta who is also an actor of many experiences. By studying myself, my journey had expanded by continuing to set my trails.
What made you want to become an actor?
Since a young age I have participated in a lot of productions back in high school and was always casted for main roles in particular. I had joined an Acting agency from the age of 12 till early sixteen years, received quite a few auditions, but not auditions that had reflected of where I was going. Later on in my 16 years I had left the agency and was apart of a black drama school called ‘Identity’. I am now officially apart of a new musical theatre agency and will be proceeded to the new Lion King production which will be held down in the west end.
What up coming projects have you got lined up?
I am currently filming for an upcoming movie called ‘Starlight’ it’s to do with a group of young teenagers hat have a dream they want to fulfil , however each of them have their own obstacle course to overcome which lays between the two destinations of either failure or success. That will be showing at a cinema near you nearer the time. Music projects are under construction for the time being, but improvement and development will always be infinite.
Have you done any shows? If you have, what motivates you to give out your best performance?
I haven’t done any recent shows, but in general what motivates me to be the best and give the best would definitely be positive thinking.
