Aivy Thi Nguyen Brings you this Amazing & Very Inspiring Interview The Very Talented Patrick Ryan

Aivy Thi Nguyen Brings you this Amazing & Very Inspiring Interview from The Very Talented Actor/Comedian/Singer & Dancer Patrick Ryan. You are going to Enjoy This One.

Hey, this is Patrick Ryan. I'm a 29 yr. old actor/comedian/singer/dancer here in Chicago. Im moving to L.A. pretty soon to pursue this full time and become something special. I just wanted to reach out to all of UK's most amazing fans and fill them in a bit more about me. I am seeking an agent who sees some upside in me and knows how serious and dedicated to my life's dream I am. I have an agent, but I land most of my work on my own. I have been acting since a young age, I would guess 10, and its just been in my blood. I have always been a performer and never shyed away from the spotlight. As a person, I am supremely humble of where I came from and who helped me. I think its important to honor those who came before you and to blaze a trail for those who will come after you. I love acting and for me, it would be such an honor to be the new face of horror movies, but in the same sense, to make it to "Saturday Night Live" or a sitcom on TV as a comedic actor. I think any work is good work, so I would simply be happy just to be looked at for any role. Why limit yourself? I come from a small family and recently lost my dad suddenly, so it pushes me to further goals. I have a wonderfully supportive mother (and she is also patient dealing with me), a very smart and loving brother, and my best friend, my niece, Grace. Beyond that, I'm performing to make people smile, wonder, and laugh.
What made you want to become an actor ?
For me, I think acting was always in my blood. I was such a hypocondriact as a kid, so over acting was in my nature. I really didn't know anything else, but I always felt special, as far as performing goes. I think a lot of others saw something in me before I actually saw something in myself.
Who inspired you ?
I will be honest (as opposed to lie lol), my family, friends and a few actors have inspired me. My dad was always a hard working guy, though never hit his full potential, but certainly very loving. My mom is probably the hardest working, patient, decent woman I know. She is so solid and I respect her to the highest degree. She is a friend and a mom. My brother is probably one of the smartest people I know. We get closer as the years go by and I realize what great friends/brothers we are becoming and what a great dad he is. Actors, well let me start here. My best friend, Lamorne Morris, is one of the most gifted, talented people I know. He has pushed through tremendous adversity and is the star of various commercials and "The New Girl" on FOX here in the US. Other actors: Ser'darius Blain, Lisa Dawn Foertsch, Kevin Spacey, Matt Damon, Steve Carell, Robert DeNiro, Frank Vincent, Jon Heder, John Candy, Jim/John Belushi, Al Pacino, Chazz Palminteri, Steve Martin, Eddie Murphy, Denzel Washington, and many many more actors have inspired me and helped me grow simply by seeing their performances.
In 5 years, where would you like to see yourself ?
In 5 years, I would just like to be alive lol. But honestly, I would love to be starring as a regular cast member on a sitcom, performing some stand-up comedy at a comedy club, in a few movies, or simply just happy and comfortable with life, so that I can help others rise up and reach their moment. In 5 years though, I will still be young enough to not even hit my peak. Im psyched!
Best filming experience or things I enjoy while filming ?
I think the best experience I have had so far, is filming short films with talented film makers here in Chicago. The have a lot of vision and drive for what they want to achieve. I do enjoy working with people who have a sense of humor and offer a little creative control for their films. As a comedian, I feel like I bring a different element and the "unexpected". I try to appeal to everyone via comedy, but I also "toe the line".
Upcoming projects ?
I do have a few projects in the works. I am expected to possibly act in a horror movie in TXsometime soon and I am also writing a web-series for everyone across the world to see. It will be a comedic series, one that everyone can relate to, but the first of its kind....it will be 50% improv'd while shooting. If someone says something that wasn't in the script, but its funny and works, we are gonna show it. Other than that, Im constantly auditioning and Im open to roles that comes across for me to read. Im happy to get the opportunity to simply audition. I have a lot of work to do, so I don't expect too much to come forward for me. You have to work for what you want, so I am definitely trying to do that.
What motivates you to give your best performance ?
I think for me, just the opportunity to get better motivates me. I love getting smiles and laughs, but knowing I have so much to work on, is inspiring for me. I'm somewhat selfless as I'm doing this for my friends and family, but I have learned to put myself first in this respect. I want to get better everytime I'm on film. People enjoying what I do is an amazing bonus!
Facebook, Twitter, YouTube:
On Facebook, you can find me as Patrick Ryan (Winfield, IL) and under PatrickRyanComedy (one word) as my fanpage. I'm happy to accept all requests. Twitter, I don't mess with too much, yet. YouTube: Coming Soon! I get asked a lot about videos of performances and whatnot, and I will do my best to get some short films and stand-up shows posted for you all to see. Always feel free to add me on Facebook though as I'm really open to making new connections and Im a big fan of the UK and the awesome people who live there. Essex Girls! Wooooo! (nope)
To everyone who reads this, know that your dream is possible, you simply have to believe in who you. I struggled for the longest time with a number of issues, but I came through it knowing I have sooo much to offer the world and the people who live in it. Don't let anything get in your way. I'm still struggling, but its a journey. Nobody wants to hang with the guy who finishes the race first, but with the people who finish together. And to all the agents out there, please, give me a chance to "WOW" you. And lastly, thank you to all the fans of the UK and England as a whole. You may not be fans of me yet, but I hope its only a matter of time. Cheers!
