British soul singers Adele and Corinne Bailey Rae attended the Barclaycard Mercury Prize 2011 yesterday (September 6) at Grosvenor House in London.

Adele, who has been having a record-breaking year with her sophomore album ’21,’ was up for England’s top music honor, the Mercury Prize, but lost to PJ Harvey and her new album ‘Let England Shake.’
