Q.Tell us about who you are & What you do?
I’m a UK born singer/songwriter/recording artist.

I’ve been singing and dancing in various shows along the South Coast since I was 9. I wrote teenage poetry galore about my personal experiences and later turned them into song lyrics. That formed my first album ‘Comin’ on Strong’. My 2nd album ‘Black on Black’ has some impressive funky bass lines, so a bit different from what you usually hear in modern pop music.”

I have 3 music videos; ‘Wrong all along’ which was filmed on location in Lincoln, in a disused, semi-derelict and ghostly mental hospital, ‘Better things to do’ filmed in a Georgian country house and ‘Terrified’ filmed against the green screen. The green screen experience was weird because you have to dance and sing with no props at all and with no idea what the finished product will look like!!

Q: Describe your Music in 5 words

Q: What are your Current projects that you are working on?
I’ve recently had pneumonia so that knocked me off course for a while. Prior to that I was collaborating with a rapper – we need to get back in the studio and pick up where we left off!

Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 years time?
Singing in front of 20,000 people who’ve all come to see me and hear me sing!

Q: Where do you get your inspiration from?
All of it is from my heart – there’s a couple of lightweight dance tunes but even they mean something to me - all of it is my experience..

Q: Who would you rather listen to UK or US Music?
Before Adele and Jessie J I would have said US without hesitation…I did appreciate Amy Winehouse’s voice but couldn’t really relate to her experiences.

Q: What Artist do you listen to?
Christina Aguilera, I also listen to Pink, Beyonce, Adele, McFly

Q: Who influences your music?
I love Christina Aguilera’s honesty and I used to listen to her when I was growing up, I also listened to Whitney, Cher and Celine Dion when I was younger so I guess they helped me develop my vocal style.

Q: Please describe your fashion style in 5 words?
Whatever I feel good wearing!
