PRESTON LUX MUSIC PRODUCER-ENTERTAINER
Preston Lux is a born performer. Singing in church choirs from Tacoma, Washington to Pasadena. In Pasadena Preston enlisted into the John Muir Mustang Band (an official Tournament of Roses Band)
Preston returned to Pasadena and co-founded the Essence Of Time(song and dance group). His participation in the Pasadena Bi-centennial Celebration as a performing artist afforded him the opportunity to work with Sherry Scott and Don Whitehead of the original Earth Wind and Fire Group. Preston toured with Sir Jewell Akins (LET ME TELL YOU BOUT THE BIRDS AND THE BEES) for national travel campaign(song, dance and band director). Other musical campaigns included working with Ron Dacus Classic Soul(Ft. Lewis, Wa) and the unforgettable Otis Byrnes and Diamond Cut Band(Oakland, Ca)
Preston consistently gives recognition and thanks to those who have given him a helping hand along the way. Specifically, Mr. Bobby Sanders of SOULTOWN RECORDS - Hollywood, who was his first manager. To the Eddie Smith Band and Cornell Harrell guitarist, vocalist(and formerly of BARRY WHITE BAND), who kept The ESSENCE OF TIME singing group Eddie Coleman, Hurley Johnson, John Odom and myself on track. The inspiration that he received from Cornell, and Dale Harrell.
In a word, Preston says he thanks GOD YHWH for his blessings of talent to move from a contestant in Talent Shows to the International Stage, production and Spoken Word.
Preston has toured the Continental United States, working 300 plus appearances in 3 years, finishing 2 albums and working on a third. For all his experiences, Preston still remains a dedicated Dad and musician. Prestons' love of music translates directly to how he interacts with people, and this can be seen through his mentoring and staying connected with family, proteges', friends and fans.

I am a writer, arranger and musician who through influences of people like; The Natural Four, The Ojays, Grover Washington, Bobby Sanders(Soul Town Records), Eddie Harris, The Whispers, Sly and the Family Stone, Larry Graham, Ramsey Lewis, Earth Wind and Fire, The Temptations and Especially MY HEAVENLY FATHER YHWH have inspired me tremendously to create out of the ordinary with a vision of excellence.
Though I grew up on the West Coast, my experiences on a spirituel level, have broadened my appreciation for what YHWH has bestowed upon me. I appreciate the welcome and the support over the years of you who continue to encourage and show your support. I just can't say it enough THANK YOU. I sincerely pray that these new albums reach higher and higher into your hearts.
A special thank you to my friend and very accomplished vocalist and keyboardist Ms. Michelle Lamb for her contribution to KINGS WALK(right on Sis.) By the way did you know that Ms Lamb was the keyboardist for ISAAC HAYES for several years. RIGHT ON AGAIN MS LAMB.
