Like sirens of the sea, Betsey Johnson's Spring 2012 models lured Fashion Week-ers in with the show's hectic sexuality, captivating neon's, and focus on two main body parts beginning with the letters "T and A."

Johnson's daughter Lulu opened the show to splendid praise in a sheer maxi dress that hugged her curvaceous body. The playful line burst forth from a heart shaped cutout and changing colored screen backdrop creating a powerhouse vamp look. The show opened to a remix of Jimi Hendrix's "Foxy Lady" and the party continued with "City Grrrl" by CSS, and "Where Them Girls At" by David Guetta and Nicki Minaj.
Inspired by Brigitte Bardot, Burlesque dancers of the 40's, and Nicki Minaj's own bosom, the collection took form in lingerie-inspired looks, salacious corsets, flirty tulip skirts, and vicious metal dresses. A pair of mesmerizing neon green and yellow high-waisted short shorts entitled "Jealous," sandwiched between two other equally-as-interesting titled looks ("Tight Ass" and "Leggy") lived up to its title.
Before the show began, a snake-shaped formation of bodyguards ascended down the runway surrounding a blue haired beauty and darling of fashion week, Nicki Minaj. The singer exchanged messages with Miss Johnson via Twitter during the show, writing, "Lmao. See ya in a bit!" Later backstage the two flamboyant ladies posed for pictures as Betsey got to personally fondle her raw inspiration of the collection.
