Songbird JoJo took to her Twitter to give fans some news about the upcoming single from her much anticipated but often delayed third studio album, Jumping Trains.
She had announced that she shot a video for the track “The Other Chick,” which fans thought was the first single, however, JoJo assured us that the Oak-produced record was only a buzz single. Said to have a sound similar to the first single on her last album, 2006′s The High Road, she has chosen the track, “Disaster” as the lead single from her upcoming album.
Although there is no solid release date for Jumping Trains, reports are saying that we should hear the album this fall. Hopefully, “Disaster” can give the album the push it needs. It would be sad to see all of JoJo’s hard work and talent go to waste.
TREY SONGZ READIES NEW ALBUM
R&B crooner Trey Songz had a sit down with GlamazonsBlog to talk about his recently gig as the new face of Rocawear’s fragrance, Evolution and opened up a little bit about his future plans in music.
Q: What can we expect from you in the future? You’ve done music, fashion, fragrances, what’s next?
Trey Songz: Whatever God has planned for me. It’s all about hard work and determination. Every year has been better than my last and every album has done better than my last. I’m embarking on new endeavors every chance I get.I just did Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D, coming out next year. I’m working on a new album entitled Chapter 5. Music will always be my first love. I’m going to South Africa and I’m elated about it. I’m taking my mother and family. That trip will be very instrumental in what this next album will be.”
It’ll be interesting to see if Trey takes his time or not on this album. With the success that he achieved from his LP, Ready, it seems as though he rushed out the next project, Passion, Pain & Pleasure. Although it garnered a couple hits, some insisted that Trey should have taken his time.
