Sara Lilly is a singer songwriter who has been writing music and playing her guitar since she was 14 yrs old. Her music genre is Pop / Folk with a country twist and her voice is being compared to Kate Bush and Karen Carpenter..with a touch of Grace Slick. Sara released her debut album Butterfly in 2010 and within 6 hours and with no PR it reached number 11 in the Country Charts where it stayed for 2 weeks. She was the only unsigned artist in this chart up there with Cash, Parton and Taylor Swift. " Music is in my blood it defines who I am..I am always writing and singing and just love it" she says. BJ Cole supports Sara and has played on Someday Soon - he is a legend and a delight to work with and Sara will be using his skills on her second album which is already written since she has over 60 songs.
Recently Sara worked at FarHeath Studios on her new release Strawberry Girl with the legendary producer Mike Bennett and sound engineer Angus Wallace. She recorded 3 tracks including Beautiful and Tick Tock.
Working full time on her music she also has UK Approved Trademarks which are expanding into Europe in Fashion, Beauty & Media. She has also recently written a new TV Show Format which she will be working on with a production team. " I just love being creative - it gives me such a buzz!"
