Coming Soon- New Reviews by Unsah Malik

Helloo my lovely readers!

It feels good to be back blogging. I just took a skim through my previous couple of moaning blogs but I’m glad to say that I no longer feel down in the dumps. Exams are over, the sun is out and so shades are on; get in – bring on summer and bring on the partaaaaaaay!

I’m working on a fab new blog for you readers, where I’ll be reviewing the more ‘niche’ online fashion, luxury and lifestyle magazines. We’ve all heard of Elle, Vogue, Marie Claire, Glamour, Harper's Bazaar and the rest of the big bosses who dominate our magazine shelves. Unfortunately, the smaller magazines who aren’t working on such a mass scale are being pushed to the side. I’m all for opportunities and establishment, which we know is extremely difficult in the media/fashion industry. With literally thousands of people budging to create a name, it’s not exactly as easy as ABC, 123. So, bear with me guys and I’ll have them reviews and new sites for you all to look at as soon as possible.

Meanwhile, how is everyone’s summer hitting so far? I spring cleaned my room the very day after exams had finished and felt extremely refreshed (no more books boringly staring back at me). I’ve also been shopping...a lot. I don’t know why either! I have the whole of July and August left and I’m spending as if it’s going to be raining money tomorrow, as much as the sun is shining today (which, by the way, is A LOT in London and around if you’re not from there)

One purchase which I am loving is my new D&G Animalier sunglasses...they are 70’s retro with class. They haven’t been around much yet but the style will most certainly be storming in this summer. It’s different and for those of you who like trying different styles or who maybe feels like having a makeover this summer, I recommend you buy a pair, or a pair of the similar sort because it’s one of those things which doesn’t look so ‘last year’ when the new year’s trend hits in. Doesn’t matter how wide, narrow, big or small your face is because so far, whoever’s tried my pair on (or grabbed them from me) have looked fantastic. And don’t forget – sunglasses equal to eye protection as much as a fashion statement, it’s like killing two birds in one stone.

A couple of weeks ago I was reading the ‘You’ magazine from The Sunday Times and I came across a picture which attracted my attention so much that I had to take a quadruple take. The ‘C-Kini/String’. I couldn’t quite understand it when I first saw it, it was almost like my eyes were trying to draw away from it, but couldn’t because there was some superglue laser rays connecting my pupils to the small picture on the contents page in the right hand corner. I’m a bit wary about posting a picture of it on here because it crosses borderline freeze-framed porn for me (an exaggeration but I don’t like it and therefore I refuse to take the effort to paste it). Here’s a link:http://xrl.us/bku6rs. Now, I see why some people might find it sexy (!?) but I also see why the majority of the universe wouldn’t. It looks like a pad to me. We have the G-String and we have the thong, we have boxers, knickers and then the high briefs. I do not understand why we need this. It looks awful! If it looked kinky and good then okay fine, fantastic, it’ll enhance your good time with your partner. But it doesn’t look kinky. Or good. The person wearing it might as well get a vajazzle because to an extent, that can be pulled away with being sexy. This can’t. I very much doubt it’ll be a big summer trend. I predict it to be something that’ll be available for some time, but won’t exactly be going large. Some websites describe it as being like a ‘headband’. Well, I don’t know about you, but having something like a headband for my private part doesn’t quite cut it for me. However, If you do, for whatever reason, decide to purchase this thing... don’t wear on a beach in Dubai, just saying.
