I'm sure that many of you will have heard of the 'Not Just Medical' blog created by London medical student, Saskia. Her regular Hummingbird Bakery recipes along with her natural ability to write about fashion, photography and life is why she is one of my favourite bloggers. Luckily, I was able to catch up with Saskia and find out a bit more about who she is...
Harsharan: How long have you been blogging and why did you decide to start a blog?
Saskia: I've been blogging for about 9 months now. I pretty much started it for my own private enjoyment, as somewhere to write about my interests in fashion, food and so on.
Harsharan: Describe your blog in 3 words
Saskia: Oh dear, umm... 'completely random fun'!
Harsharan: How would you describe your personal style?
Saskia: I'd describe it as very casual, simple, comfortable with my own lick of personality. :)
Harsharan: Do you have a favourite shop?
Saskia: As a student, I go for H&M quite a lot because of its affordability and fantastic go-to pieces, but I've recently fallen in love with Hurwundeki, a boutique in Central London. If money was no barrier, I would buy their whole shop!
Harsharan: Who is your style icon?
Saskia: I've always loved Audrey Hepburn's classic style. She's so intriguing without even trying!
Harsharan: If you could be anywhere in the world right now, where would you be and why?
Saskia: I would be in Hong Kong, spending time with my friends and family, eating the most delicious Asian food and shopping in their markets.
Harsharan: What 3 essential items would you need if you were stuck on a desert island?
Saskia: Facial wash, my camera and my laptop (with a wifi connection of course!)
Harsharan: What are your hopes and dreams for the future?
Saskia: I hope to get through the rest of my medical degree in one piece, and still be able to keep up the blog!!
Go and check out Saskia's blog here! xx
