Everyday is a different day for me. Some days are filled with sun and other days can be filled up with rain, but every day I get I always try and be prepared for it.
Today I received a lovely email from a local community centre that I used to teach vulnerable women 'Textile Therapy' to. Hearing some of their stories and their journey through life as well as what they had suffered mean that my sole aim became about giving them sunshine in their life again and helping them with their confidence and self esteem by showing them what they are capable of making through the Art of Textiles.
Sadly the project came to an end due to lack of funding, but today the sun shone again as we are trying to get sponsorship by running a textile taster event (I will keep you posted on the dates, details etc...) in order to bring joy to those who really need it.
