Prodigy to release film
The Prodigy are set to release a film of their Milton Keynes Bowl show, which took place last year on July 24th. The film, entitled, ‘World’s On Fire’, will be shown at 70 cinemas across the UK for one night only on March 31st. It also contains a short film of the Prodigy’s Brazilian tour.

Snoop Dogg, Bjork and Damon Albarn set to play Manchester International Festival
Snoop Dogg, Bjork and Damon Albarn are all set to play the Manchester International Festival, which takes place throughout July. Snoop Dogg will play his Doggystyle album in full on July 15th at Manchester O2 Apollo, Bjork will play six dates, between June 30th and July 16th, and Damon Albarn will play his new solo album Doctor Dee from July 4th-9th at the Palace Theatre.

Marc Jacobs to win lifetime achievement award
Marc Jacobs is set to win the Geoffrey Beene Lifetime Achievement award at the 2011 CFDA awards, where he is also nominated for womenswear designer of the year. Also being honoured are Phoebe Philo, for International Designer of the Year at Celine, and Lady Gaga is set to win fashion icon of the year.

Kate and Alexa launch the W hotel
Two of the most stylish women on the planet- Kate Moss and Alexa Chung were attendees of London’s W Hotel launch party last night, with Kate taking the stage to introduce the house band, which includes rock legend Roger Daltrey, and Alexa DJing at the party. Also attending the party were Alice Dellal, Bella Freud and David Gandy, among others.
