R.D. Franks. . .

. . .has been the home to fashion literature since 1877. A Teacher for Fashion Students, Journalists, Designers, Stylists and many more creatives. The store, which recently relocated to Winsley Street, stocked everything a fashion fan could ask for.


This place was my lunch time library when I was studying just around the corner and it has moved with me through my journey of fashion, from my student days to running my own fashion label.
I'm sure you can imagine my shock when reading the following announcement on R.D. Franks Twitter page:

'' R.D Franks is now closed until further notice. Kindest regards to all our lovely customers.''

I have been digging deep to find out whether they plan on re-opening or will continue to sell online, but nothing as yet.
Until then, we hope it shall open it's doors once again. . .
