Blogger Spotlight: Pretty Much Penniless

If you haven't heard of 'Pretty Much Penniless' then you should be ashamed of yourself! The lovely Ellie (the author of the blog) has wowed me with her amazing vintage finds, her exceptional skill for thrifting and her fabulous OOTDs from day one. The 23 year old (who is recently engaged BTW!) has become my all-time favourite "Jumble Sale Queen" with her love of lace, cake and floral...What is there not to love about Ellie and her blog?!

Harsharan: How long have you been blogging and why did you decide to start a blog?
Ellie: I started my blog nearly exactly 1 year ago because I wanted to share my love of thrifting and practise my writing skills.


Harsharan: Describe your blog in 3 words
Ellie: Fun, current and cheap.
Harsharan: How would you describe your personal style?
Ellie: I tend to change my look everyday but wear lots of vintage dresses or quirky high street duplicates, jeans with cute tops and tough boots. My wardrobe is a little schizophrenic!

Harsharan: Do you have a favourite shop?
Ellie: Probably ASOS or Topshop for their styles and high turnovers. Charity shops are my all-time guilty pleasure though.
Harsharan: Who is your style icon?
Ellie: I love Drew Barrymore- especially recently. She has the perfect mixture of vintage sweet style and riot girl fierceness.

Harsharan: If you could be anywhere in the world right now, where would you be and why?
Ellie: Either on a steam train in Scotland or in a sixties Buick convertible travelling across the USA.

Harsharan: What 3 essential items would you need if you were stuck on a desert island?
Ellie: Some Palmers Cocoa Butter, a subscription to Grazia and a pack of McVities Hobnobs.

Harsharan: What are your hopes/dreams for the future?
Ellie: I want to open my own Junk Tea Room- vintage, cakes and crockery, a perfect combination.
