Allium Opus is looking for 5 extraordinary Producers with a strong working knowledge of the Outdoor Arts Sector.
The Mayor Of London in association with the London 2012 Festival and with support from Arts Council England, will present a 7 week, city wide outdoor arts festival on high streets, town centres, squares and green spaces in summer 2012.
Allium Opus has been contracted by the Greater London Authority to manage and deliver the programme.
We are looking for 5 extraordinary Producers with a strong working knowledge of the Outdoor Arts Sector to work with us to create, facilitate and oversee delivery for the outdoor arts festival programme. Each producer will work across one of 5 sub regions in London (North/South/East/West/Central) overseeing the development of a outdoor touring programme, as well as joining up local and regional initiatives to create an extraordinary pan London celebration.
Candidates will be expected to demonstrate a strong working knowledge of the British/International outdoor arts environment, a strong understanding of the arts and cultural landscape in London at a local and regional level, and have a strong track record in public / private sector partnerships. We are looking for senior level producers who are strong team players, can think strategically and creatively plus bring a positive can-do attitude.
We want to be as diverse as the city we represent and welcome applications from all backgrounds. We are open to secondments.
The successful candidates will need to be available to start immediately and these fixed term contracts will run until 30 September 2012.

Allium Opus will also be looking for great work from British and International artists and plans to put out an Expression of Interest in August 2011.
