C.R.I.$.I.$ MR. SWAGGER HEADS TO THE GRAMMYS

This year’s Grammy Awards are scheduled for the 12th of February, 2012 at The Staples Center in Los Angeles California.
Amongst the many special invited guests is Zambia’s very own International Hip-Hop artist and multi award nominee and winner, C.R.I.$.I.$ Mr. Swagger.
The artist will be leaving for Los Angeles, California on the 4th of February, 2012 in time for the Grammy Awards ceremony which takes place on the 12th of February, 2012.

“Thanks to everybody that keeps supporting my music. The fans have done a great job in making sure that I represent my country to the best of my ability. As you know, the Grammy Awards are strictly on invitation and, I’m just glad that through me, Africa is being given an opportunity to be part of music’s biggest night” says the rapper.

“I would like to thank Ambassador Mark Storella and his team at the US Embassy for all the great work that they are doing to educate the Zambian youth about matters that affect them and the future. We are living in a global community now and, it’s important for my fellow youth to recognize the fact that, it’s important to not only learn about your environment but also the world around you. We must learn to embrace Social Networking as this makes the world a smaller place.”

Crisis goes on to say; “As much as the Grammys are the biggest event in music, they are also a learning curb for artists. It’s a great time to network with some of the biggest names in the music business. Speaking of which, I’m looking forward to seeing ‘Interscope Records’ CEO, Jimmy Iovine get his honor for the great work that he has done in the music business.”

“I grew up listening to LL Cool J amongst others and today, it’s a great feeling to know that he and I will be in the same building. He has done a lot for Hip-Hop and, what most people don’t know is that, at the age of 16, he helped Russell Simmons build one of the world’s biggest Hip-Hop labels, Def Jam Recordings. LL Cool J will be the Grammy Award’s first host in seven years. I believe he deserves the honor as he has come a long way and continues to stay relevant in the entertainment industry” says C.R.I.$.I.$.
